Today, the corporate world is bolting towards an ‘integrated thinking’ approach to reporting and is aptly looking “behind the numbers”. It is about time that performance moves beyond being measured in earnings and financial capital and other capitals such as social and relationship, intellectual are accorded their due importance. We are now moving towards a new financial world order, where globally, the dialogue has shifted in favor of Integrated Reporting. In this spirit, IOD, jointly with its strategic Partner, The Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), & in collaboration with The International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) is organising the Directors’ Symposium on ‘Integrated Reporting’. The Symposium will witness experts from the industry and seasoned practitioners discussing the benefits of the IR framework, making it a part of a company’s strategic DNA and way forward towards its global integration and adoption.
